Theme: Consolidation of the National Migration Management System
Time-frame: From: 26 October 2009 To: 30 October 2009
Objectives: C. Sharing of knowledge and best practices. 1. Strengthening the institutional capacities of the Moldovan institutions dealing with migration aspects
Indicators/Outcomes: Moldo-Polish Project on Transferring of knowledges and assistance in the field of migration policies, admission, visas, detention, return, readmission, fighting against illegal migration and asylum system. The aim of the project will be to provide assistance and guidance in developing and shaping migration services and structures in Moldova. The said aims will be achieved by using experiences in the field of migration that have been acquired by Poland on its way to the European Union.

Sharing the experts’ knowledge and experiences will be a main asset of the project. The project will be implemented in cooperation with the Border Guard Headquarters and the Office for Foreigners. It will consist of seminars held in Poland with the participation of the above-mentioned migration services.
