Objectives
Illegal migration. 1. Strengthening the institutional capacities of the Moldovan institutions dealing with migration aspects

Indicators/Outcomes
The project addressed the needs of Moldova for “strengthening capacity of Moldovan authorities in preventing and combating illegal migration and trafficking in human beings”. The request has been formulated in “Moldovan position on the Moldova-EU mobility Partnership”. The project consisted of the seminars and study visits. It was held in Poland (27-30.10.2008) and Moldova (22-24.09.2008) with the participation of migration services (including border guards, police officers and public prosecutors) and non-governmental organizations. Aiming at sharing the experts’ knowledge and information on changes in trafficking in human beings and, what is more, making the delegates from Moldova become familiar with Polish law and methods of acting in this area.
