of migration management, building on existing evidence

Indicators/Outcomes
Phase I: critical inventory of migrant support measures from the employment and skills perspective, to assess their cost-effectiveness and impact on labour migration.
Phase II: based on the above assessment, mapping of existing measures in Armenia, Georgia, Moldova, Morocco and Tunisia

Main activities
Phase I: Elaboration of the approach and the questionnaire; research on and contacts with institutions holding policy, and/or intermediary and/or operational role in labour migration; critical analysis of the evidence, report writing.
Phase II: site visits, interviews, further analysis; reports’ writing; dissemination workshops.

Beneficiaries
EU and MS institutions, partners countries policy makers, and implementing institutions.

Monitoring/Evaluation
Evaluation of the results will be based on EU and MS and partner countries feedback, about the usefulness of the study. Evaluative feedback will be sought during the GAMM/MP meetings and during the dissemination workshops at the end of 2014 or early 2015.
