Geographic scope
Support the Bureau for Migration and Asylum (BMA) reform process and quick development of the migration related agenda, in connection with the EU Visa Liberalisation Action Plan.

Objectives
Enhancing the knowledge and skills of the Bureau of Migration and Asylum (BMA) and establish the first integration programme for foreigners in the Republic of Moldova, thus strengthening the country’s migration management system.

Indicators/Outcomes
the I component aims at improving the legislative and institutional framework of the BMA trough the analysis of existing legislation and drafting of new normative proposals.
The II component aims at increasing the knowledge of BMA staff in the area of legal migration, integration of foreigners and funding opportunities and various assistance programs.
The III component will support the improvement and renovation of one of the BMA’s field office thus contributing to the improvement of the BMA’s functionality.
The IV component aims at strengthening the relevant central and local authorities’ capacities to detect inland illegal migration.
