Further implementation of the Moldovan Integrated Border Management (IBM) concept in line with the upgrading of the European IBM concept

Geographic scope
Continue the implementation of the Moldovan Integrated Border Management (MD IBM) concept in line with the upgrading of the European IBM concept.

Objectives
1. Evaluate MD IBM and continue the role of the National Council for Integrated Border Management (NCIBM) with the scope of strengthening the institutional capacity and adjusting the IBM inter-agency concept with the last European developments.
2. Increase the institutional capacity of Border Police Department through transfer and increase of knowledge in the field of border management inclusive by e-learning.

Indicators/Outcomes
Transfer know-how on updated IBM;
Enhanced role of NCIBM;
Improvement of knowledge-sharing and mutual understanding;
Increased specialisation of staff;
Centralised data management in place;
Staff able to implement the Frontex Core Common Curriculum.

Main activities
Deployment of long-term expertise;
Training sessions for specialised staff;
Participation to 1 international working group/meeting in Frontex, in the field of Common Core Curricula implementation, Capacity building on EAP;
Setting-up of an e-learning platform;
Training for staff on e-learning platform.

Monitoring/Evaluation
If the Contracting Authority carries out an interim or ex post evaluation or a monitoring mission, the Coordinator shall undertake to provide it and/or the persons authorised by it with any document or information which will assist with the evaluation or monitoring mission, and grant them the access rights as they need it.
If either the Beneftciary(ies) or the Contracting Authority carries out or commissions an evaluation in the course of the Action, it shall provide the other with a copy of the evaluation report.
